shsThe School of Health Sciences (SHS) aims to

  • prepare students to become Christian professional workers, imbued with Christian principles and virtues, with dignity and self worth, respect for each person as creature of God and commitment to give quality care for a healthy society;
  • provide students with opportunities for their holistic development and training particularly basic competencies in the management of health care, and provision of health services; to develop their expertise scientific knowledge, and professional attitudes that will enable them to obtain career satisfaction as they demonstrate concern for quality health care and participate as members of the health care team; and
  • Equip students with the competencies needed to enable them to practice their care setting like hospitals, clinic, health centers, in the home and in the community.
